What a creative photo! I love the perspective you went with on this one; it is perfect! The focus is on the rear-view mirror putting the view from the windshield into the background. You have your sunglasses on and a camera in hand.. looks like a beautiful fall day to me. The coloring is natural- not too bright like some pictures come out. Just gorgeous! Caitlin Panella
The emotional content of this photo to me is very carefree and adventurous. I think the technical elements are the main reasons I like this picture so much. Focusing in on the rear view mirror to take the picture of her reflection is very creative and I think it came out great. I like how the view through the windshield is kind of blurred so that all the attention goes towards the main focus on the mirror. In my opinion, if there were a larger meaning behind this image I think it would be that we can get a better understand of ourselves by trying to view ourselves through the eyes of others and how they see us (if that makes any sense, lol). I also think she is trying to communicate her persona as a very caring and patient person, at least that's what I get from this picture. I also agree with Caitlin's comment about the coloring being perfect and natural. Very awesome!
Not your traditional mirror pic which is a great change of pace. The natural lights overexposure eliminates the busyness of the background and brings clear focus to the subject(you!) This picture is warm and reminds me of sunny end of summer/fall afternoon. There is a side of spontaneity and adventure to this shot which makes it fun. Hopefully you weren't driving!
This is a very interesting picture. I like the vintage color and how you involved your camera, which I'm assuming is a big part of your life. Selfies are hard to take with that type of camera so a mirror picture seems appropriate. I also like how you're the only one in focus, but I kind of wish you could see more of your face. Needless to say, it's still a creative shot!
love the idea, but we cant see your face! you seem like you know what yore doing when it comes to taking pictures. i dont know if it is a filter but i like the vintage feel of the picture.
